In news that seemingly comes straight out of left field, mega-investor Warren Buffett’s company Berkshire Hathaway just purchased Jazwares. As of this year, Warren Buffett is the sixth richest person in the entire world. His company Berkshire Hathaway is a multinational conglomerate holding company, which makes these types of purchases all the time. This being a toy manufacturer puts it on our radar though.
If you are not familiar with Jazwares, they are the company that produces Fortnite action figures, AEW action figures, Halo action figures and the new Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron line of toys. Surprisingly, they are the fourth ranked toy company according to Chief Banking Officer Jeremy Padawer.
When asked if the purchase will mean major changes to the company, CBO Jeremy Padawer said, “It just means we will continue along the path of growth, hopefully all the way to new, fun experiences and opportunities in toys and play!”
Berkshire Hathaway has acquired our company @Jazwares!
It’s been an awesome ride! Toys, collectibles & the business of play.
Today, we're #4 toyco w Pokémon, Roblox, Squishmallows, Fortnite, AEW, and many other iconic brands.
I’ll continue as CBO. ❤️🤘🏻https://t.co/Nf2ynAHf0o
