The first Overwatch video game was a massive success across all platforms to say the least. Beyond the game, the worldwide hit spawned merchandise of all sorts. And of course this included action figures and toys. Hasbro held the license in the US for mass retail while Good Smile Company held down the premium action figure spot with its Figma series. Fast forward to October 2022: Blizzard launches Overwatch 2 with no action figures on the store shelves. This April, Funko will attempt to correct this with the release of an all-new line this time in 3 3/4″ format. The first wave has been revealed: Tracer, Genji, and Reaper. Let’s take a look at each:
Tracer
Amazon Preorder – 12.99 w/Prime
This rewinding British hero comes with an alternate head sculpt, three swap-out hands, and twin pulse pistols
Genji
The Japanese ninja returns and includes an alternate head sculpt, two swap-out hands, and two swords (including his dragonblade)
Reaper
The mercenary and fan-favorite Gabriel Reyes includes four swap-out hands and his pair of hellfire shotguns
Stay tuned for more information on this new line by Funko as it’s available!
