Get ready to rock…and RIDE! Nacelle Toys upcoming Biker Mice From Mars line has received some major updates and these are mice you will definitely want in your home. What’s changes have Vinnie, Modo, and Throttle received? We’ll start with articulation. Previously, the trio featured a decent 15 points of articulation each. While that’s not too bad, Nacelle decided it wasn’t enough. Now each figure will contain 22 points of articulation. Yes, these mice are going to be super-posable and ready to rock ’em and sock ’em. More articulation is always a welcome addition for action figure collectors.
Now let’s go to the second upgrade. Fans of this 90’s property know that Vinnie, Modo, and Throttle are not all the same size. For those unfamiliar, here’s a couple screenshots from the original 1993 animated series to give you a better idea:
Originally, these were set to all be 7″ action figures. Nacelle decided again this wasn’t good enough, and now they are sized to where they are in proper scale with each other. Throttle (brown mouse with shades), the leader of the pack, now comes in just slightly over 7″ at 7.12″. Vinnie (white mouse) as you can see is the smallest of the crew and is now 6.8″ tall. And the largest of the bunch, the cyborg mouse Modo (grey with eyepatch) is now almost 8″ tall (7.97″ to be exact). Re-creating them in a more accurate size-scale was definitely a good choice! Here’s a look at the newly designed packaging as well, with a side-by-side of the original.
If you even glanced at the packaging comparisons above then you have already notice the third and final upgrade: accessories. Previously, each Biker Mouse included one accessory and a swap-out head sculpt wearing a helmet. Now these guys are loaded with two additional head sculpts, with the biker helmeted version featuring an updated look to the visors. They also will now include two pairs of interchangeable hands. That’s not all though…each also will come with a hot dog accessory in addition to others. Here’s a run-down of everything included with each.

What a rush! Overall I think this is a very impressive upgrade to what was already a good-looking action figure line. I’m absolutely looking forward to the release of Nacelle Toys Biker Mice from Mars and after reading this article I’m betting many of you are as well.
